Limpopo Mining Indaba (LMI) is a two-pronged annual one-week event hosted in Limpopo province, South Africa; that brings together various stakeholders from the mining sector under one roof. First, by creating a platform on which stakeholders from the government, civil society, and private sectors discuss the best practices in the collaboration & partnerships in mining sector in Limpopo, South Africa, the African continent, and across the world.
Second, LMI offers exhibition space for government, civil society, and private sector stakeholders to showcase the latest policy, practice, and technology innovations that aid a mining transformation in Limpopo province, South Africa, on the African continent, and across the world.

South Africa, particularly Limpopo is endowed with an abundance of mining resources that can be deployed to redress the triple challenges of inequality, poverty, and unemployment.
